MAKE A GOOD NARRATIVE WRITING

In this week i gonna to tell ,give information ,and explanation about narrative text. From the definition  , how to write paragraph narrative,the generic structure and of course i will give an example about narrative text based on my own experience that i have been wrote in the previous posting. Okay ..lets read carefully guys !

The definition of Narrative text is a text that focusing some specific participants that have several structural features making different from other genres. Narrative has social function that is to tell stories in the past ,the purpose is to entertain the readers.(based on smalley, and ruetten ,1984). Narrative is used most often in : fables,myths and legends,adventure stories and your own experience. There are 3 generic structure in narrative ,:

1. Orientation :include of introducing participants, and informing the time and the place . it also about the characters.

2. complication : about crises in the story and process of social interaction.

3.resolution : show the way participants faces the conflik,and close the story.

There are also the language features in the narrative text : 
    -  Using processes verbs: tell,says,narrates
    -  Using temporal conjuction : chronological order 
   - Using simple past tense.

How to different narrative text with other genres of writing .

To different narrative text with other genres we can see from the generic structure but if thereis no the generic structure in the example of the text ,we can read and know from the kind of the text , usually narrative text are about fabel,legends, true story (but not with the steps )and adventure story ,from the tenses that used in the text, not only that but also narative text always introduce crisis and how to solve them,narrative text also always appears as a hard potrait of participants past experience,it refveals the conflict because conflict is the important thing in narrative ,, if narrative without conflict is not text narrative any more .

How to make a narrative writing

the first one when we want to make a paragraph works we should make the topic sentence. What is topic sentence ? topic sentence is  the first sentence in a paragraph , why we should make a topic sentence ? it introduces the main idea of the paragraph .

Example : One year ago, in the Sunday morning like a usually, because I’am a dilligent and beautiful daughter,so  I always helped my mother to tiddy up the house , i started to wash the plate,wash the clothes,and many other.(PARAGRAPH ONE )

                   Monday morning ,I went to the campus at 08.00 o’clock,i met  all of my friend and i still think , why they didn’t remembered about me ? I still felt sad in the campus, then when lesson is finish one of my friend said with me “ del common went to agatha’s house because we must do some group work “ I just silent and followed them (PARAGRAPH TWO).

After we make the topic sentence and we choose the tenses ,because narrative is tell us about something happend in the past so we use PAST TENSE for all of the verb in the text. Not only make a topic sentence every paragraph but we must know about a topic and a controling idea.

Example : - because I’am a dilligent and beautiful daughter,so  I always    helped   my mother to tiddy up the house

              -   Monday morning ,I went to the campus at 08.00 o’clock,i met  all of  my friend and i still think      (THAT’S CALLED CONTROLING IDEA )

After we finish make a topic sentences ,controling idea,and choose the tenses ,,so we can apply in the paragraph writing. Than we write based on the good generic  structure

TITLE	MY NINETEEN BIRTHDAY SURPRISE
ORIENTATION	One year ago, in the Sunday morning like a usually, because I’am a dilligent and beautiful daughter,so  I always helped my mother to tiddy up the house , i started to wash the plate,wash the clothes,and many other..........
COMPLICATION	I went to the campus at 08.00 o’clock,i met  all of my friend and i still think , why they didn’t remembered about me ? I still felt sad in the campus, then when lesson is finish one of my friend said with me “ del common went to agatha’s house because we must do some group work “ I just silent and followed them Suddenly dinyok called me and ask me to go out side from agatha’s house but before that they asked me to change my clothes and i didn’t want but they still asked me to change. In the out side suddenly from my back they tied me under the tree,and leave me alone there. I shouted call them but they didn’t come , and unpredictable, suddenly they came with a big pail of dirty water,flavour ,and some eggs
RESOLUTION	I felt happy,and angry, than they leaved me alone again, but suddenly they come and bring a beautiful white cake with many fruits on the cake and canddles, with 19 number,,,, aaaaaaaaaak I really surprise to got that cake ,and unpredictable surprise.

After we make the skema of writing ,, from topic sentences,controlling idea,and choose the tenses so we will easier to make a good paragraph like this !!

MY NINETEEN BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

One year ago, in the Sunday morning like a usually, because I’am a dilligent and beautiful daughter,so  I always helped my mother to tiddy up the house , i started to wash the plate,wash the clothes,and many other. At the time my felling is not good enough, i felt sad, gloomy , and i think that no one care about me. In my deep heart i said “ today is my birth day why no one said happy birth day for me ,there is no cake, there is no canddle.” I was really sad at the time , all of the day i just stayed in my bed room until night,and always looked at the clock.

Monday morning ,I went to the campus at 08.00 o’clock,i met  all of my friend and i still think , why they didn’t remembered about me ? I still felt sad in the campus, then when lesson is finish one of my friend said with me “ del common went to agatha’s house because we must do some group work “ I just silent and followed them. On the way i started fell strange with my friend , they always bullyed at me, and stayed away from me. Suddenly, i fell down from my motorcycle and they didn’t looked at me, and i felt that i wanna cry. In agatha’s house they more strange than in the campus they often leaved me alone, and that maked me confused. Suddenly dinyok called me and ask me to go out side from agatha’s house but before that they asked me to change my clothes and i didn’t want but they still asked me to change. In the out side suddenly from my back they tied me under the tree,and leave me alone there. I shouted call them but they didn’t come , and unpredictable, suddenly they came with a big pail of dirty water,flavour ,and some eggs. I was really shocked and i say with them please  don’t do that ! but they didn’t heard at me... and taraaaaaaaa! They watered me ,throwed me with the egg,and give me the flovour.

 I felt happy,and angry, than they leaved me alone again, but suddenly they come and bring a beautiful white cake with many fruits on the cake and canddles, with 19 number,,,, aaaaaaaaaak I really surprise to got that cake ,and unpredictable surprise.after that i took a bath,change my clothes , eat the cake together and went to my home .

NOTE : the red and yellow colours are the topic sentences. Why that sentences called as a topic sentences ? let’s me give the reason !

SENTENCES	REASON
One year ago, in the Sunday morning like a usually, because I’am a dilligent and beautiful daughter,so  I always helped my mother to tiddy up the house	In that sentences are tell about main idea of the paragraph one , than that is the first sentences in the paragraph one so it called topic sentence. In that sentences give clue about what the writer will do all the day ,so it called topic sentences .
Monday morning ,I went to the campus at 08.00 o’clock,i met  all of my friend and i still think , why they didn’t remembered about me ? I still felt sad in the campus, then when lesson is finish one of my friend said with me “ del common went to agatha’s house because we must do some group work “ I just silent and followed them	Same with the reason of the topic sentence of first paragraph, because this is the first sentences so called topic sentence ,introduces the main idea and tell what the writer will do all the day in her campus,and about the conflic.
